Announcing Pepper 3.2
We are happy to announce the availability of the Version 3.2 software update for the Pepper Pad 3, Pepper Pad and the Pepper Desktop software for the PC. This update is free of charge and very easy to install on your Pepper Pads and PC. To download and install the update simply press the Get Updates button found on the main Applications tab in the Pepper software or click the green checkmark in the status tray.
The software update includes many bug fixes and these new features and enhancements:
Document Library - New Application!
Provides support for add, delete, open (PDF only, only on Pepper Pad 3), import, export Office and PDF files. This is available as part of the Pepper application suite.
Remote Desktop - New Application!
Provides the ability to control a Win XP Pro or Win XP Media Center Edition computer on the same local area network. This is available as a separate download using the Get Applications button on the main Applications tab (Pepper Pad 3 only).
Remote Control
Provides support for user-created macros. One "autorun" macro may be defined per activity that will run each time the activity is opened plus additional macros can be placed on the activity screens. The user interface also allows the advanced user to edit raw button hex codes for a device.
Video Library
Added the ability to create, store and share user created videos using the integrated camera (Pepper Pad 3). Also added support for DivX movies to be stored in the Video Library.
Photo Library
Enhanced the user interface for taking, storing and mailing photos.
Journal
Now provides the ability to export or email one or more pages in your journal.
Web Browser
Improved Download Manager with export and delete support.
Ethernet Networking
Support for USB Ethernet via DHCP and manual configuration via a new settings page.
